The Association for French Cultural Studies
The Association for French Cultural Studies was launched in 1980 by a group of university professors affiliated with 14 different institutions from all over the country. Its aim is to provide a forum for college and university professors who teach French civilization and related courses. Its broad goal is to consolidate the position of French Cultural Studies in college and university French programs and to promote discussion of theories and practices. Its specific goals include:
In order to ensure the future of French cultural studies, the AFCS invites all college and university teachers to join in this collective effort by becoming a member of the association. |
