The Dulohery Sisters abroad! |

In 1971 the Dulohery Sisters ventured abroad to visit Europe. While we only have pictures of Amsterdam and in Holland, we know they traveled elsewhere, including Ireland, as evidenced by an article in the Oct-Nov 1971 issue of Mercy Telstar, the newspaper of St. Joseph's Hospital, Svannah, GA. "High up in a mountain by the sea on the Ring of Kerry, Sisters Immaculata, Bride and Cornile came across this statue of Our Lady of Mercy, patron of their Order. ... Later, on Baggot Street in Dublin, the sisters saw the place where Catherine McAuley founded the Sisters of Mercy"
