After Thomas McKeon died in 1962, Florence relocated to Miami, where she and Tom had visited many times together.  She worked part time as a telephone operator and receptionist for several years, then spent her retirement soaking up the sun and taking cruises to the Caribbean, Europe and Hawaii.

In the photo at upper left Florence attends a papal Mass in the main square of Florence Italy.  The photo at lower left is of the Franca, one of the cruise ships she took.
