opened around the time of World War I. The
Foy sisters purchased a plot when Luke Foy died in
1920, with the understanding that any of them or
any other unmarried sisters had the right to
be buried there. Buried in this plot

The Mullin family purchased the plot directly behind
the Foy plot sometime before Michael Mullin died in
1925. They allowed Polly Goetz, a very close
friend to be buried there, as well as the Sinkos,
father and mother-in-law of Agnes Gillen Sinko.

Frank O'Grady was
the eldest son of Thomas and Jane Foy O'Grady. He
purchased this plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery,
Valhalla NY when he and his wife Peggy had a

Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. His rather grandiose
plan for Gate of Heaven Cemetery was never
completed, but the tower remains. Tom and Jane
O'Grady lie about four tablets down from the
tower. |

Abigail
Sherry Devany was a cousin of Virginia McKeon Foy, and
served as a bridesmaid for Virginia at her 1925
wedding. Abigail and Jim had no children.
Virginia Foy, Abigail Devany and Helen Casey were
cousins who remained close friends. ===>> |

The Sheridan family
plot at St. Francis Cemetery in Mount Kisco, New
York. Maria Grady Sheridan was the mother of
Thomas and Mary Frances O'Grady. Maria came
from the Mayo / Roscommon border. She remarried after
the death of her first husband in Ireland. The
name "Grady" was changed to
"O'Grady" by immigration officials in New
York City. |

nephews and niece, the Concannons, take over his
grocery market on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers NY .
Michael Morley remained single, and encouraged his
nephew, Michael Morley, to take over his grocery store
on Lake Avenue in Yonkers. Young Michael has
added a restaurant and catering business. Jack
and Mike are buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers

within two months of each other.

was born in New York, the daughter of
Michael Foy and Mary Curran from Knockatober.
She had two children: Robert and Mary Lynn.
Her aunts, Tilly Foy and Delia Foy also came to
the US and are buried also in Gate of Heaven.
