The garden to the right of the Whitney House has been
restored and maintained by the Florence Gould Foundation as a testimonial
to cordial Franco-American relations.
The house at left is not part of the Whitney house, but the architecture
has been kept consistent with the Whitney facade. The windows over the
building are strange, and may not have been in the original design.
