| THIS INDENTURE, Made the 17th
day of December, in the year One thousand one hundred and fifteen
between OLIVER H PAYNE, of the City, County and State of New York, party
of the first part, and THE COUNTY OF ULSTER, a municipal corporation of
the State of New York, party of the second part.
WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of one dollar ($1.00), lawful money of the United States, paid by the party of the second part, does hereby grant and release unto the said party of the second part, and its assigns forever, ALL THOSE PIECES OR PARCELS OF LAND hereinafter designated as parcels "A" and "B", situate in the Town of Esopus, County of Ulster, State of New York, for the Old Post Road State Highway No. 5508 as shown on the accompanying map and described as follows: - PARCEL "A" Beginning at a point on the Western boundary of the Existing Old Post Road Highway, said point being 20 feet distant westerly, measured at right angles, from Station 386 + 00 of the hereinafter described survey base line of the proposed Old Post Road State Highway No. 5508, Route No. 3, Ulster County; thence south 11 degrees 14 minutes east 209.3 feet, to a point 51 feet distant southwesterly, measured at right angles, from Station 388 + 05 of said base line; thence south 32 degrees 0 minutes east 155.5 feet to a point 18 feet distant southwesterly, measured at right angles, from Station 389 + 57 "A" of said base line; thence south 56 degrees 19 minutes we3st 19.7 feet to a point 35 feet distant southwesterly, measured at right angles, from Station 389 + 62 "A" of said base line; thence south 32 degrees 09 minutes east 267.1 feet to a point 20 feet distant southwesterly, measured at right angles, from Station 392 + 23 "A" of said base line; thence north 58 degrees 51 minutes east 20.2 feet to a point on the said base line at Station 392 + 26; thence south 27 degrees 37 minutes east 175.8 feet to a point 15 feet distant northeasterly, measured at right angles, from Station 394 + 00 "A" of said base line, thence curving to the right with a radius of 395 feet a distance of 205 ± feet to a point 13 feet distant southwesterly, measured at right angles, from station 397 + 17 of said base line, thence south 3 degrees 03 minutes west 180.0 feet to a point 25 feet distant westerly, measured at right angles, from Station 399 + 00 of said base line; thence south 1 degree 43 minutes east 100.5 feet to a point on the Western boundary of said existing highway, the last mentioned point being 15 feet distant westerly, measured at right angles, from Station 400 + 00 of said base line; thence northerly along the last mentioned boundary of said existing highway 475 ± feet to a point 78 feet distant northeasterly, measured at right angles, from Station 394 + 30 "A" of said base line; thence north 32 degrees 09 minutes west 505 ± feet to a point on the southern boundary of said existing highway, the last mentioned point being 36 feet distant easterly, measured at right angles, from Station 398 + 18 "A" of said base line; thence westerly and northerly along the last mentioned boundary of said existing highway 347 ± feet to the point of beginning; being 1.12 acres more or less. PARCEL "B" Beginning at a point on the Western boundary of the existing Old Post Road Highway, said point being 32 feet distant easterly, measured at right angles, from Station 397 + 23 of the hereinafter described survey base line of the proposed Old Post Road State Highway No. 5508, Route No. 3, Ulster County; thence south 5 degrees 41 minutes east 83.2 feet to a point 32 feet distant easterly, measured at right angles, from Station 398 + 00 of said base line; thence south 8 degrees 48 minutes west 107.4 ± feet to a point on the Eastern boundary of said existing highway, the last mentioned point being 23 feet distant easterly, measured at right angles from Station 399 - 07 of said base line; thence northerly along the last mentioned boundary of said existing highway 189 ± feet to the point of beginning: being .02 acre more or less. The above mentioned survey line is a portion of the survey base line of the said proposed Old Post Road State Highway Route No. 3, Ulster County as shown on a map on file in the office of the Clerk of Ulster County, and is described as follows: - Beginning at Station 386 + 00; thence south 19 degrees 45 minutes east 270 feet to station 388 + 70; thence south 18 degrees 57 minutes east 225 feet to Station 390 + 95 "A" thence south 39 degrees 41 minutes east 136 feet to Station 392 + 31 "A"; thence south 22 degrees 04 minutes east 359 feet to station 395 + 90 side line - 397 + 00 main line; thence south 7 degrees 00 minutes east 100 feet to station 398 + 00; thence south 4 degrees 00 minutes west 200 feet to station 400 + 00; all of which is shown on map above. TOGETHER with the appurtenances; and all the estate, title and interest of said party of the first part in and to said premises TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the above granted premises unto the said party of the second part, and its assigns forever, AND .....
