Archibald Russell to Gidney
This deed refers to the Russell property now owned by the Christian Brothers about a mile south of the Payne property

This Indenture made the twenty sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between Archibald Russell of New York  of the first part and Eleazar Gidney of Ulster County in said State of the second part 

  Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars lawful money of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has remised released and quit claimed and by these presents does remise release and quit claim unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever

  All that certain piece of parcel of land  and all his right title interest to the same bounded on the west by the center of the highway leading from Kingston to Newburgh on the north by a line running from the Centre of said highway through a hickory tree to an Oak tree marked thence southerly to a cedar tree in or near the division line of old lot No 8 thence along said division lin e Northwesterly to the middle of said highway and thence along the middle of said highway to the place of beginning.

Together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.  To have and to hold all & singular the above mentioned and described premises unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.

            On this 14th day of May 1852 personally appeared before me George T Pierce which whom I am personally acquainted & being by me duly sworn deposes & says that he is a resident of Esopus in said County of Ulster that he saw Archibald Russell execute the within conveyance that he the said Pierce subscribed his name thereto as a witness and that he know the said Arch Russell to be the person described in & who executed the said Conveyance
