Tjerck B Dumont and Van Gaashut Dumont and Henrietta hiw wife to Solomon W. Gidney 

 This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine

Between  Tjerck B Dumont and Van Gaashbeck Dumont and Henrietta his wife all of the town of Esopus in the County of Ulster and State of New York parties of the first part and Solomon W Gidney of the town, County, and State aforesaid party of the second part 

Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars to them duly paid before the delivery hereof have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant and convey to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever

All that piece or parcel of land lying and being in the town of Esopus Ulster County and bounded as follows to wit

Beginning at the northeast corner commencing at George T Pierces northwest corner joining the land of widow Jane Etting's heirs, thence southerly to George T Pierce's southwest corner and joining the lands of Eleazer Gidneys, thence westerly to a pine tree marked on the southeast corner of Oliver Elmore's land thence northerly to a stake and a heap of stones east of a beach tree marked  I. K. T at Oliver Elmores corner then along Elmores land westerly to the corner of Cornelius Relyea thence northerly along said Relyea's land to the corner of his original lot thence easterly along the lands once owned by John Beaver and now owned by Chauncey Brainard and wife to the land of Jane Eltings' heirs thence eastwardly along said Jane Eltings land to the place of Beginning  containing fifty five acres to be the same more or less

with the appurtenances and all the estate title and interest of the said parties of the first part therein and the said parties of the first part do hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second part that at the time of the delivery hereof the said parties of the first part are the lawful owners of the premises above granted and seized thereof in fee simple absolute and that they will warrant and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peacable possession of the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns forever

In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hand and seals the day and year first above written

Ulster County  ss;

On the twenty sixth October in the one thousand eight hundred and forty nine Tjerck B Dumont and Van Gaasbeck Dumont and Henrietta his wife personally came before me and severally acknowledged that they had executed the within conveyance and I certify that I know the land Tjerck B Dumont and Van Gassbeck Dumont to be two of the individuals described in and who executed the same and the said Henrietta ona private examination apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the said conveyance freely without any fear or compulsion of her husband and at the same time appeared Stephen Dumont residing in the town of Esopus in the county aforesaid who being to be duly sworn deposed and said that he know the said Henrietta who made the acknowledgment as aforesaid to be the same individual described in and who executed the within conveyance which to me satisfactory cause{?}  thereof
